# How to get the Samsung Notes app on any Windows PC

# **Samsung Notes does not run on non-Galaxy Book Laptops anymore**

Samsung Notes no longer runs on non-Galaxy Book Laptops anymore after a recent update *(v4.3.181.0)* via Microsoft Store on Windows 11.

**Solution\*:** Downgrade by uninstalling the current version and installing the older version [4.3.150.0](https://drive.google.com/file/d/18wLBq-a7QKTkFl6RJTo_LOM6dRvSeUya/view?usp=drive_link)*.* And remember to switch off automatic updates in the Microsoft Store *(Windows 10 or Windows 11)*.

Update: *Samsung might have removed the downloads from the internet, so the previous link no longer works. I have uploaded the files to the cloud below, either link would work.*
